Joseph S. Spence Sr. (Epulaeryu Master), is a professional poet, author, dynamic speaker, man of God, diligent researcher, and inspirational reviewer of over 100 books. He is the author of eleven collections of poetry and over 200 peer-reviewed published articles in various genres. He served as a United States Army commissioned officer of twenty-six years of honorable and courageous service, named Apollo the Greek god of poetry and music by his military comrades in arms, and also served as a lay Eucharist minister with designated military Chaplains worldwide as an additional duty to being a commander of soldiers. He holds several degrees, including one in divinity from Faith Theological Seminary. He is currently a member of Siloah Evangelical Lutheran Church in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
