Note, for using the free Modbus RTU protocol we expect you to have a working knowledge of any programming needed to configure your controller and connectivity with limited support from us. We are not able to teach or support MODBUS programming.<\/p>\n

Standard Controller<\/strong>\u00a0(Included)
\nThe standard controller provides all of the features needed to configure and operate the heat pump, with a manual switch to change the mode from heat-cool-off. The mode can also be selected by using relays from a single stage heat pump thermostat as explained in the manual. There are many onboard automated control features such as dynamic outdoor reset control for heating, automatic mode switching based on outdoor temperature, etc.<\/p>\n

Dynamic Humidity Controller \/ Psychrologix Controller\u00a0details here<\/a><\/strong>
\nThe Psychrologix controller main function is called DHC (Dynamic Humidity Control). DHC manages dehumidification (Latent heat rejection) & disables dehumidification when it\u2019s not needed to optimize the system based on indoor humidity. It can provide >34% additional energy savings above the official IPLV rating when dehumidification is disabled. (Leaving water temp 44F changes to 54F)<\/p>\n

Radiant Cooling Controller (Dew Point Controller)<\/strong>\u00a0details here<\/a>
\nThe CXRC1 radiant cooling controller continuously monitors up to (8) eight indoor dew point sensors and accurately modulates the water temperature feeding the radiant system to keep it close to, but above, the dew point. This prevents the problem of condensation forming on a radiant floor or radiant panel surfaces.<\/p>\n

Radiant Heating Temperature Controller For Hardwood \/ Laminate \/ Engineered Floors<\/strong>
\nThis is a free add-on that is incorporated into the CXRC1 mentioned above. It allows a user to define a maximum water temperature allowed to flow into radiant zones for the purpose of protecting certain flooring materials. It can allow the buffer tank to be at a higher temperature than what is allowed in the radiant zones, to support other loads as needed.<\/p>\n

MODBUS RTU<\/strong>
\nThis is a RS485 connection that allows a customer-provided controller (based on Arduino, Raspberry Pi, or other) to monitor and control various aspects of operating the heat pump. Contact Chiltrix for details.<\/p>\n

WiFi\u00a0<\/strong>(For Chiltrix CXI Fan Coil Units)
\nThe CXI series units are compatible with Cielo Breez WiFi which give iPhone \/ Android users the ability to control one or more CXI units.<\/p>\n
