Those terms sounds about right \u2013 don\u2019t they?<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If you have chronic pain \u2013 how can you get out of the penalty box?<\/li>\n<li>Or, can you reduce the impact of migraines, fibromyalgia, or auto-immune inflammations?<\/li>\n<li>What are practical ways to mitigate PAINs that affect one\u2019s quality of life for 3 months or more?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>From the top<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A Definition:<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">The International Association for the Study of Pain (IASP) defines pain as: \u201can unpleasant sensory and emotional experience associated with actual or potential tissue damage, or described in terms of such damage.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Five Common Signs of CP<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>a. Reactivated prior pain paths (real or perceived).<\/p>\n<p>b. Poor surgery and improper post-habilitation.<\/p>\n<p>c. Fear of \u201c<em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.medicalnewstoday.com\/articles\/320844\">Catastrophizing<\/a><\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>d. Reduced Movement.<\/p>\n<p>e. Your extended Fight or Flight\u00a0<strong>Stress<\/strong>\u00a0Response.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>A CP Management Approach<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Our National Institute of Health (NIH) states,<\/p>\n<p>\u201ca growing body of evidence suggests that some<br \/>\ncomplementary approaches, such as acupuncture,<br \/>\nhypnosis, massage, mindfulness meditation,<br \/>\nmusic-based interventions, spinal manipulation,<br \/>\ntai chi, qigong, and yoga, may help to manage<br \/>\nsome painful conditions.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>From, credible research, books and publications,<\/p>\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>We have mindset amplifiers (e.g. fear or anxiety) for CP. Yet, wait, wait\u2026 there\u00a0<em><strong>are\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>ways to counter, dampen or stop those amplifiers for musculoskeletal and neuromuscular pains.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>2.Yes, you can mitigate the flow of your \u201cfight or flight\u201d hormones \u00a0 like cortisol when you do NOT need them.<\/p>\n<p>3. Journal your Findings.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Tame the CP Beast!<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong><em>Build up Safety in Me (SIM) senses (hear, smell, taste, touch, places you go, bodily things happening.)<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0Examples of SIM are:<\/p>\n<p>a. I believe in my practitioners.<\/p>\n<p>b. Broken bones\u00a0<em>will<\/em>\u00a0heal in their time! There is light at the tunnel\u2019s end.<\/p>\n<p>c. My inflammation is a feedback signal for me to change.<\/p>\n<p>d. I found friends who feel what I feel.<\/p>\n<p>e.
