For many people joining a martial art begins with a self defense class to fill a need to feel safer and more secure from bullies or potential threats. While some others may join to develop better control of their bodies and minds. Yet some may join simply to seek out the goal of becoming a black belt or get some physical exercise program. None anticipate it to become a life long commitment that will drastically alter the course of their lives and forever change the very person they are destined to become.
A lifelong dedication to martial arts has lead me to “Murray’s Way of Life.” Having studied martial arts for over 35 years, it has become part of my identity. I have learned to use the philosophies found in the martial arts to guide my whole life. These principles and codes embedded within these arts have become part of who I am today.
