About Me

Diane became hooked to meditation over thirty years ago when she experienced her first Vipassana meditation retreat. Diane loves to share the many benefits of meditation with her students in hopes that they may grow their own unique, individual practice. Diane is both a long time meditator and teacher of psychology and experiential education. She is certified through the Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program. https://mmtcp.soundstrue.com and is a certified teacher of the Befriending Your Body curriculum, a program aimed at making greater peace with food, body and self BFYB Program She also draws from her practice of the Chinese moving meditation forms of Qi Gong and T’ai Chi in her teaching.

The beauty of Mindfulness Meditation is that it is portable and flexible. It can be done anywhere and may be done comfortably from a chair. It’s important to experience several approaches to meditation to learn what works best for each person. As students develop a sustained meditation practice over time, they start to see the benefits of meditation in their day-to-day but also can use these Mindfulness Meditation tools more readily when they experience increased life stress. Having regularly visited India since 1997, Diane is committed to situate these medication practices in their rich histories and cultures.
