Born in 1969 in Ethiopia and raised in the same country, Gelnine grew up in a close-knit family with eight siblings. She earned her high school certificate from a private school before pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology. Her academic journey not only honed her analytical skills but also deepened her understanding of societal dynamics.

Gelnine moved to Canada in 2001, embarking on a new chapter of her life. Settling into her new home with her husband, she started a family and became a proud mother of two children. Her decision to stay at home and dedicate her time to raising her children led her to a deep understanding of the importance of sparking wisdom in the minds of children through entertainment such as books. At the same time, she also discovered her passion for handcrafting and 3D animation, skills that added a unique dimension to her creative endeavors and plans to entertain young children.

Gelnine began writing and publishing children’s books. Her works reflect a blend of her rich cultural heritage and her belief in shaping children’s minds through wisdom and knowledge conveyed in her stories and book presentations. She aims to inspire young minds and nurture a love for reading and imagination.
