This non-exclusive Services Agreement outlines the terms and conditions governing your use of the services provided by the Book Fair Association, as described on our website at https://demo-websitedesigns.com/book-fair/. In this Agreement, “BFA” refers to the Book Fair Association.
BFA reserves the right to modify the terms and conditions of this Agreement, as well as any Service-specific terms, policies, or guidelines governing the services provided, including those posted on the BFA website, at any time and at our sole discretion. Any changes, including updates to Service-specific terms, policies, or guidelines, will become effective upon posting on the website without prior notice. While we will send an email notification of any changes to this Agreement, it is your responsibility to regularly review the website and the terms & conditions link on registration pages for updates. Your continued use of the services following the posting of any changes constitutes your acceptance of such modifications. If you do not agree with any changes, refrain from using the services or the website. In case of show cancellation or postponement due to force majeure, refunds will not be issued.
The individual, company, reseller, or marketing entity registering for the author or company is accountable for the accuracy of the information provided and agrees to abide by all terms and conditions stated herein on behalf of the author or company. The information provided during registration will be exactly as it appears in the Book Fair Association exhibit catalog(s) and on its searchable online database(s) at www.bookfairassociation.com. It is the registrant’s responsibility to ensure the information supplied to BFA remains up-to-date and accurate. Resellers, marketing entities, and authorized representatives are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of their client’s information in our database for the creation of print and online catalogs.
Registration is mandatory before mailing any books to our offices. We do not guarantee the display of books received without attached registrations. Registrants must provide the appropriate number of display copies as outlined on the Book Fair Association website. Completion of the registration process, including the submission of display copies, must be achieved by the specified deadline for each show, as outlined on the BFA website. Registrations cannot be altered after the published deadline for each show. Registrants are responsible for uploading a PDF or Epub file for the “look inside the book” feature, and monitoring and updating this information through their provided login and password.
Space is limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Display copies become the property of the Book Fair Association and will be donated at the conclusion of each show, unless prior arrangements are made. Full payment must be made prior to the show date, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. BFA reserves the right to deny registration and/or representation at the shows, and prohibits the display of pornographic materials or books containing hate speech. Only authorized representatives designated by BFA may staff the exhibit. The placement of materials within the exhibit is at the discretion of BFA, and we reserve the right to change their location as deemed necessary.
Limited quantities of promotional material are permitted, except for specified showcases. Attendance by authors, publishers, marketing entities, or authorized representatives entitles them to certain activities within the exhibit area, as outlined. However, promotional materials cannot be distributed within the booth, meetings cannot be held in the display area, and extended stays are not permitted.
All resellers of BFA services must obtain acknowledgment from the author/publisher regarding acceptance of BFA terms and conditions. Failure to do so will result in indemnification of BFA for any violations by the reseller’s clients/authors.
Registration for book display does not include exhibit badges, which must be purchased separately through the respective book fair’s website or onsite.
Any person, company, or marketing entity reselling BFA services must clearly disclose BFA as the company responsible for displaying authors’ titles at shows attended by BFA.
In the event that a Full Page Ad is ordered for a catalog and the PDF file is not submitted by the deadline, BFA reserves the right to utilize the Front Cover of the registered title as the advertisement for the catalog.
