From an early age, John LaCorte was passionate about manufacturing and the science behind quality lighting. His curiosity about how products are made, combined with his interest in the benefits of advanced lighting technology, led him to secure his first position at NASA’s Langley Research Center. During the early stages of his career, he focused on manufacturing and supply chain management before transitioning into business development and ultimately moving into executive leadership roles.

Since its founding in 2009, Concept 813, under the leadership of John LaCorte, has distinguished itself for its innovative approach and commitment to delivering high-quality lighting solutions to OEMs. The company specializes in product development, global supply chain management, and comprehensive sales and marketing services. John LaCorte oversees all aspects of the business, including sales, product development, manufacturing outsourcing, and consulting services.

As VP of Business Development for Circadian Lighting at Bios Lighting, John LaCorte was responsible for driving the growth and expansion of the company’s circadian lighting solutions. He led efforts to identify new market opportunities, establish strategic partnerships, and develop sales strategies that aligned with the unique benefits of circadian lighting. His role also involved collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that Bios Lighting’s products met the market’s needs, contributing to the company’s overall success in the industry.

In 2020, he was the Global Operations Vice President at OttLite, where he applied advanced global manufacturing strategies focused on lean manufacturing and continuous improvement to optimize global outsourcing business models.
